Shape the entire GLOW experience — awards show pacing, show segments, performance integration, and audience engagement. You'll own the creative direction and on-site execution of the full 3-hour show, delivering a polished "SMU Oscars" vibe that the SCIS community will never forget.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualise the GLOW theme, show identity, and awards-show tone
Design the full 3-hour show rundown (arrival, opening, award blocks, performances, closing)
Plan award segments: nominee reveal format, winner announcements, walk-up moments, acceptance speech flow
Curate and coordinate performances/interludes (dance, band, skit, montage, hype segments)
Draft master cue sheet (emcee scripts, buffer time, segment times, running order, onstage action and contingencies)
Work with Marketing on stage visuals (slides, award screens, nominee posters, transitions)
Align with HR on presenters/MCs, stage performers and stage training
Identify show risks (timing overrun, technical delays) and prepare contingencies
Lead dry runs and cue-to-cue rehearsals; oversee on-site execution with Ops
In charge of stage blocking and positioning for all stage performing personnels
Stage management on the Glow day itself
Manage backstage flow (winners staging area, presenters queue, performance changeovers)

Operations Director · × 1

Operations Director

The "control tower" for show-day execution — safety, crowd flow, time discipline, and issue management. You'll be the operational backbone of GLOW 2026, coordinating across all departments to ensure every physical aspect of the event runs like clockwork from setup to teardown.

Key Responsibilities

Create the master operations plan (movement flow, entry/exit, seating, stage access) and movement of performers and logistics on and off stage
Liaise with internal parties (e.g., OSS, OSL, SEP) regarding safety, rules and regulations, and usage of campus space
Manage assets loaning from internal parties (e.g., ELLIPSIS, SMUSA, OSL, IITS etc)
Work with Programmes to keep the show on time (hard cues, hold/release decisions)
Source and manage: trophies/awards, certificates, sashes, stage props, and decor
Handle all physical setup needs (registration, photo wall, signage, seating needs)
Coordinate food/snacks/welfare for OC, facilitators and performers (if applicable)
Liaise with vendors (printing, trophy supplier, decor items) and ensure timely delivery
In charge of the GPD (Go-Prepared Document)

Makes GLOW look like SMU's award night — visuals, branding, hype, and media content. You'll spearhead an aggressive marketing campaign and craft a cohesive visual identity that gets the entire SCIS community buzzing before the big night.

Key Responsibilities

Spearhead an aggressive marketing campaign to promote GLOW across all platforms
Develop the GLOW brand kit (logo, theme colours, typography, "Oscars" look)
Design all collaterals: posters, EDMs, slide templates, nominee screens, and winner screens
Create the on-ground visual experience: photo wall, signage, and stage visuals
Manage social content: teasers, nominee reveals (if any), pre-event and post-event recap reel
Coordinate event photography and videography
Produce and edit montage and memory video highlights

Human Resource Director

Manpower and people management — you recruit, schedule, train, and look after welfare for the OC and support crew. This role ensures everyone feels supported, motivated, and equipped to deliver their best throughout the planning journey and on event night.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit and allocate manpower: emcees, ushers, runner crew, stagehands, registration, and photo wall crew
Build the manpower roster and shift plan covering setup, showtime, and teardown
Coordinate training and be in charge of: stage etiquette, ushering, and crowd management
Manage internal comms: announcements, deadlines, and attendance tracking
Oversee welfare and morale through bonding activities, check-ins, and conflict resolution

Corporate Relations Director · × 1

Corporate Relations Director

Your partnerships and stakeholder liaison lead — bridging relationships across facilitators, clans, school bodies, and sponsors/partners. You'll be the face of GLOW to the outside world, securing the support and resources that make the event possible.

Key Responsibilities

Source and secure sponsorships for GLOW 2026
Manage sponsors' items from collection through to distribution
Fulfil sponsors' marketing requests: logo placements, mentions, and agreed deliverables
Manage partnerships (if any): sponsors/in-kind, external vendors, performance collaborators
Work with HFS to acquire quotations from various suppliers where needed
Act as point-of-contact for cross-committee coordination and approvals

Support the show planning and stage execution — awards segments, performance transitions, and cue coordination. You'll be hands-on throughout the planning journey, from updating the rundown to being on-ground during rehearsals and the event itself.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and updating the 3-hour programme rundown
Help prepare MC/presenter scripts, award lines, and stage movement notes
Coordinate performance logistics (timings, lineup, rehearsal needs) with relevant parties
Support rehearsals and cue-to-cue runs (timing checks, transitions, mic handovers)
Show-day support: backstage management (winner/presenter queue), trophy handovers, and stage running

Operations Executive

Ensure smooth on-ground flow — venue logistics, crowd movement, timekeeping, and troubleshooting. You're the boots on the ground that keep GLOW running like clockwork from the moment doors open to the final teardown.

Key Responsibilities

Support venue planning: seating, entry/exit flow, holding areas, and signage placement
Assist with coordination of campus rules/regulations and internal logistics needs
Support asset loans/returns and tracking (equipment, materials, passes)
Show-day operations: ushering flow, crowd control support, runner duties, and timekeeping
Help coordinate setup and teardown with other departments

Drive publicity and visuals — content creation, design support, and event media coverage. Working under the Marketing Director, you'll help build the GLOW aesthetic and ensure the SCIS community is counting down to the big night.

Key Responsibilities

Support marketing rollout: posters, EDMs, countdown posts, and reminders
Assist with slide/visual assets: nominee/winner screens, stage visuals, and signage
Support on-ground branding: photo wall setup, directional signage, and visual touchpoints
Assist with content capturing (photos/videos), file organisation, and post-event recap

Key Responsibilities

Assist in sponsor outreach: compiling leads, drafting messages, and follow-ups
Manage sponsor items: collection, inventory, storage, and distribution (goodie bags/prizes)
Support fulfilment: logo placements, mentions, sponsor requests, and timelines
Support quotations and sourcing with relevant parties (as needed)
Coordinate updates between sponsors and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery

Finance Executive

Finance Executives are the backbone of the budgeting process — supporting the Finance Director to keep GLOW financially organised, accountable, and within budget. You'll help track spending, manage reimbursements, and ensure every department has the resources needed to execute smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Support creation and maintenance of the master budget tracker (planned vs actual)
Help departments with costing and quotations (trophies, printing, decor, welfare, AV add-ons)
Process and track reimbursements: collect receipts, verify details, and update reimbursement logs
Maintain proper financial documentation (invoices, screenshots, approvals) for audit and accountability
Assist with purchase approvals by checking remaining budget and flagging overspend risks early
Work with Corporate Relations to record sponsorship/in-kind value and fulfilment costs
Support post-event financial wrap-up (final spend report, learnings, areas to optimise)
